Graduation!

I was standing on a ledge, so that's why I was taller than Jason and McKinsey! In real life, they are so tall compared to me. Why did I end up so short compared to my siblings? Lol.

Our college includes the Horticulture department, so I got a gorgeous rose, too!

I had a couple of friends graduating from the same college as me! This is Jenni, my old roommate. I couldn't find anyone else, unfortunately.

*gasp* why is my cover empty?! Is this a joke? Ha ha jk. They mail the diplomas a few weeks after graduation.

Kyle and I were also able to go home that weekend for Easter and visit our families. My cousin Jacob came, too, to spend time with the fam. I have some pics from that, but I'll upload them next time.

The Wounds of Earning Money...

Yes, I know it's been a while since I posted; don't remind me ;). Lately, there's been nothing to post about: school, work, and other unexciting stuff! Well, one exciting event is coming up in less than 3 weeks...my graduation! I am very excited about graduating from BYU-I and I'm so surprised at how fast these 4 years have gone by! I've been tired of going to school for a month now, but I will be sad to leave BYU-I. It has been a great school these past 4 years.

To pick up some extra money, Kyle's been donating plasma twice a week; here at the plasma center you get PAID to donate it! I don't really want to do it (why feel sick twice a week? It's like giving blood), but Kyle loves doing it and it's an easy $70/week. He rarely has had any problems with feeling woozy and such, but the other day a new guy was trying to put the needle into his arm. To make a long story short, the new guy did a rather crappy job of trying to find a vein and ended up bruising both of Kyle's arms and making him bleed! He never ended up donating plasma that day, but he still got paid for it.

I took this after he came home from the plasma center that day. Poor Kyle...

And this was taken about a day or so after. Surprisingly, the other arm didn't bruise!

Mother's Weekend!

A tradition they have at BYU-I is for student's moms to come up and visit for a weekend. My mom has come up in the past and she came up again a few weeks ago! What's more fun is she brought my sister Kinsey; poor Kyle was outnumbered 3 to 1! lol.

Us three girlies...you can tell Kinsey and I get our good looks from our pretty mama!

Long time no blog!

It's been a while since the last post, and plenty has happened, so I thought I'd fill with what's happened!

About a month ago, before school started, we decided to go play mini-golf! There's this activity place in Rigby that also has go-karts and a corn-maze in the fall. It's kinda like a mini-Boondocks. VERY mini. It was a little windy (go figure), but the wind didn't hinder the game too much!

As you can tell, Kyle takes golf VERY seriously. Seriously. lol

I, on the other hand, have no idea what I'm doing and just aim the ball for the hole!

I actually didn't play too badly!

My ball always fell in this little pond, though. Kyle had to fetch the ball a lot. :) He's so nice!

But, at the very end, it was I who had the best score! Can you believe it? As you can see in the above pic. Kyle didn't take it very well. lol jk!

And that concludes the little fun outing we had!

School also started the eight of September, so Kyle and I have been pretty busy with all that junk! That, and jobs. I'm wanting to graduate next April so I'm taking a full load this semester to graduate in time! 17 credits has been kicking my butt so far, too! I also have a little job on campus as a TA for one of the teachers. It's my second TA job and I really enjoy it. TAing is fun, but I don't ever think I could be a teacher! Kyle has been taking 14 credits so that he can work more since I'm not working a lot. He works at a Paralegal call center where people in debt call in for help and Kyle tries to sell debt-consultation, or something like that! He really likes it and has been doing really well in sells! He really loves his classes, too! His favorite classes are Old Testament and his humanities class. Fun fun! I don't really have a favorite class, but there are classes I enjoy more than others because of the teacher and the class! That's been our semester so far! We also can't wait for Halloween and have cool costumes lined up!
